Rodney Jackson brings over two decades of practical experience as an organizational development practitioner, executive coach, and leadership development trainer.  As a highly effective group facilitator in a virtual or classroom environment, Rodney excels in keeping participants engaged. Although COVID-19 has moved people to develop new skills of leading in a virtual environment, Rodney has been facilitating, training, and coaching virtually since 2001.

It was in a virtual environment where he earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Design and Effectiveness from The Fielding Graduate University, a pioneer in distance learning.  Rodney is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, with fifteen years of evidence-based executive coaching experience. He also brings over twenty-five years of experience as a highly effective group facilitator, providing innovative approaches that allow groups to quickly identify problems and develop plans to execute upon.  Using proven methods of adult learning, participants are always fully engaged, reflective, and able to take what they’ve learned immediately back to work.

Prior to founding The Caleb Consulting Group in 2006, Rodney’s career included roles as Executive Director, Training and Organizational Effectiveness Director, Human Resources Director, and National Training Manager.  His work crosses many sectors, including technology, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, animal science, medical devices, insurance, defense, and non-profits.

With over two decades of practical experience in leadership development, Rodney designed The Influential Leadership Series , a twelve module system that can be delivered virtually or in person, as individual modules or as a comprehensive solution.  The series includes everything from emotional intelligence, coaching, conflict, team development and collaborative problem solving.  Rodney is also a Channel Partner of The Ken Blanchard Companies, certified in all products including Situational Leadership II (SLII) and Authorized Partner with Wiley for Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team.

Rodney has a passion for equipping our next generation of leaders, especially those involved in engineering and science where human relations skills are seldom taught. For the past seven years, he has been adjunct faculty with the University of California, San Diego, and Cornell University, teaching skills of building personal influence for these new leaders.
